Conversions to multiple family homes, cellar and attic apartments are illegal. Commercial use is also illegal.  Paving and parking cars on front lawns and back yards is illegal.  Guard your property value!  Be a watch dog!  Preserve your quality of life!

When and where does the Q.V.C.A. meet?

Unless announced otherwise, the Association meets on the third Tuesday of every month (except December, July, and August) at 8 p.m.  We meet at Stewart Hall (cafeteria) of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. School, located between 92nd and 93rd Avenues, facing Springfield Boulevard, in Queens Village, New York. Please enter through the double gray doors facing the parking lot and go downstairs. As always, refreshments will be provided at the end of the  meeting. Within the bounds of courtesy and respect, we welcome everyone to our General meetings, including the press and people who are not from Queens Village.

MEETING DATES
(General membership meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month.) 
For the 2008-2009 civic year the meeting dates are 9/16/08, 10/21/08, 11/18/08, 
1/20/09, 2/17/09, 3/17/09, 4/21/09, 5/19/09 and 6/16/09.  
Our annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Veterans Plaza will take place on 
December, 2008.
The Executive Board meets the first Tuesday of every month throughout the year, with adjustments being made for election day and other holidays.


SPECIAL MEETINGS AND AWARDS
The installation of new officers for the following civic year takes place at the June general membership meeting with a guest dignitary swearing in the new board members.
